Like Christmas sweaters, Fluxible is a lot of goat (wool) and thoroughly entertaining. And judging from the activity on Twitter, attendees agreed! So many great moments captured, including some awesome #GoatsofFluxible user stories, #EtchaSketchNotes.

The morning talks were intimate, inspiring and interactive. Maria Giudice had attendees hugging each other while Brent Marshall pondered how to make bar fridges a huggable piece of Canadiana. Louis Rosenfeld, taught everyone how to craft their personal mission statement and Steve Portigal taught us how to make peace with war stories in user research.

Break and lunchtime gave everyone a chance to caffeinate and fuel up on tasty snacks. A big thanks to Matter of Taste, Taco Farm and Soirie for keeping bellies happy.

In addition to food, we take music seriously, too. The Festival of Interstitial Music provided some excellent entertainment in between speakers.

I'd come just for the musical breaks, but the UX awesomeness is a nice perk, too.

The afternoon's sessions gave attendees an opportunity to dive deeper into given topics. Jim Kalbach illustrated how visual representations may provide previously unnoticed opportunities and Christina Wodtke highlighted the various roles storytelling can play in the design process. User research techniques was the basis of Janice de Jong, Julia Thompson, and Susan Simon Daniels' session, while Christian Rohrer explored the intersection point of leaderhsip and UX strategy.

All that hard work required some partying, right? We thought so, too! Kitchener City Hall provided a fun venue for mixing and mingling (and hugging!). Dinner by food trucks, gelato stands, chopstick-making stations using the official shoulder plane of Fluxible, prizes, and some epic rock band riffs all made for a great night.

And now...on to Sunday! See you all in the morning.
