Trip O'Dell talks UX and makes deformed giraffes

What do you get when you throw balloon animals, interaction design, and a Doug into a blender? A multi-talented and creative person, to say the least! Trip O'Dell (@tripodell) is all that and then some, and we couldn't be more thrilled that he'll be a part of Fluxible this year.

With over 15 years experience in the design community, Trip is a well crafted pro. He's held design positions with top companies like Microsoft and Adobe, and currently works at Audible.com, Amazon's audio book facility. Designing the user experience at Audible is a fun challenge, since its products are used continuously in the background while customers are busy doing other things — like driving.

So about those deformed giraffes: as you'll see in Trip's video, there's mention of balloon animals. Yes, it's true, Trip makes balloon animals. He specializes in anything shaped like a poodle — which includes both deformed giraffes and, surprisingly, the starship Enterprise.
