Brent Bisaillion

Sometimes, we don't get much in the way of a bio from our speakers. Such is the case with Brent Bisaillion, and we’ll have to engage in a certain amount of hand-waving to provide more details. Of course, hand-waving often is a bad thing as it indicates a lack knowledge about the subject. In this case, though, it's kind of appropriate, as Brent is the UX/UI designer on the design team at Thalmic Labs, maker of the Myo armband. And Myo, of course, supports hand-waving — and much more — as a way of interacting with technology.

Brent studied Design Art and Digital Image and Sound at Concordia University in Montreal, then jumped into the world of web and interactive design.

Through his career, Brent has worked mostly in the online payment industry with Payza as the UX Architect. Recently, he made the leap into the consumer wearable tech world with Thalmic Labs, where he's excited to help determine new horizons of human-computer interaction with the Myo armband.

This is Brent's first visit to Fluxible, and we're delighted that he's speaking about the Myo armband!
