One of the things that has been obviously important to Fluxible since the start is music. This year, we wanted to add a visual arts component to the event, so we decided to commission some linocut prints from our friend and artist Michael Segui. We kicked around a few ideas with him, and landed on doing a small gesture library series. We both loved the idea of contrasting the obviously hand-crafted nature of this kind of printmaking with the high tech hardware and software of a typical touchscreen gesture UI.

We gave away several sets of these prints at our Saturday evening party/reception. Here’s a closer look:

As if these beautiful prints aren't enough, Mike also played guitar during our closing session!

Mike has these prints and more available for purchase. Do check them out over at his home on Facebook .
