If you're coming to Fluxible from out of town, you'll need a place to crash for the nights you're here. We've got you covered with two hotel choices, both an easy 10-15 minute stroll to the School of Pharmacy where the conference is being held. As a bonus, they're less than a block from our Saturday night party, too.

If couch-surfing is more your style, check out Airbnb for local rooms and apartments.

The Walper

The retro cool Walper Hotel is what our speakers call home during their stay, so you can lurk in the halls for a celebrity sighting. And heck, if Al Capone and Eleanor Roosevelt have stayed here too, it's got to be cool, right?

Built in 1893, the Walper is a historical landmark in downtown Kitchener and is a great choice for culture geeks and design nerds alike. Between the emerging and noted Canadian artists displayed throughout the building and the well-worn leather furniture in the Barrister's Lounge, the place is a visual delight.

room01

The Walper is holding a block of rooms for Fluxible until August 13; just mention the conference when you contact them. You can still book after that date, but availability isn't guaranteed. Rooms range from $90/night for a traditional queen, to $250 for the Prime Minister's Suite. Hey, that could be fun!

KW Hotel

Should the Walper be filled by the time you book, check out the KW Hotel, located just a block further down the street. Rates are around $140/night, but CAA members save $15.
