If you've ever read a book on UX, chances are good that Rosenfeld Media was behind it. A small publishing house with big talent, Rosenfeld Media publishes short, practical, and useful books and webinars on user experience design. Their roster of advisors reads like a who's who in user experience, and even includes Fluxible alum Dan Szuc (@dszuc), Todd Zaki Warfel (@zakiwarfel), Whitney Quesenbery (@whitneyq) and upcoming speakers Leah Buhley (@ugleah), and Steve Portigal (@steveportigal). We are thrilled to have Rosenfeld Media as a supporter of Fluxible again this year!

Founded by Louis Rosenfeld (@louisrosenfeld), this organization is rooted in a refreshing set of principles that sets them apart from the rest. For example, they don't just publish about UX methods, they also use them in-house to inform, test, and validate their design decisions—from designing and testing their books to determining what topics they should publish as books.

Louis himself took time out of his day to chat with us and here's what he had to say:

**Q:  You guys don't just talk the talk, you also walk the walk when it comes to user experience.  On which aspect of the publishing process does UX have the most impact?
**A: Where doesn't it?

UX methods play a huge role in how we acquire and develop new books, to how we learn from customer service data, to how we designed our books' interiors (which went through user testing before we ever put out a single book). We try to "eat our own dogfood," but _not _using UX methods would just be bad business.

**Q: Why did your organization want to get involved with Fluxible?
**A: It's simple: we love UX events. Whether they're international, like the Interaction conference, regional, like Fluxible, or hyper-local, like UX Madison, great things happen when we get together. Not only do we get to learn, but we make connections (and friends) that will be hugely important throughout our careers. We're happy to support that in any way we can.

And we're  extremely grateful that they do! Thanks to Rosenfeld Media for being your awesome selves and supporting Fluxible.
