School of PharmacyWe're thrilled to announce that the 2013 Fluxible conference will be taking place at University of Waterloo's School of Pharmacy, located at King and Victoria in downtown Kitchener.

Anyone who has been through the area will be familiar with this striking building with its modern design and unique glass facade featuring medicinal plants. It is an open and attractive space for a weekend of learning, laughs, and geeking out over design.

The School of Pharmacy's website notes:

Our program emphasizes communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach to providing patient-focused health care.

We at Fluxible believe that this philosophy dovetails perfectly with our own perspective and goals relating to design, interaction, and user experience. The School is committed to teaching and research on the cutting edge of science, with students and faculty who are eternally curious and adventurous -- just like us.

The School of Pharmacy is centrally located in downtown Kitchener, easily accessible on foot, by public transit, and there's parking. Food, drinks, and accommodations are mere steps away.

The School of Pharmacy building takes extensive advantage of natural light, and uses a great many organic materials, like wood and stone, throughout. There are spacious areas for relaxing and networking, as well as bright, comfortable lecture halls for getting down to business. As a change from last year, all of our proceedings this year will be at the School of Pharmacy. (Well, except the partying...)

We can't wait to welcome the Fluxible speakers and attendees to this fabulous venue.
