Wilfrid Laurier University

Fluxible aficionados know that we provide plenty of opportunities to learn about UX design and research. Of course, Fluxible isn’t the only learning context on the world. There are others, including our sponsor Wilfrid Laurier University. They have a couple of  job openings right now that may be the opportunity for you to teach the next generation of UX folks!

This course introduces students to basic computer and digital media concepts in hardware, software, and networking. Widely used applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation, and web development software are studied and students are introduced to their academic portfolio platform as they learn how to manage digital media files across multiple platforms in order to create and maintain a professional portfolio. Requires an undergraduate degree with at least 1 year experience teaching computer applications in a Mac lab. See more details and apply.

Course Instructor: UX211 BR - Graphic Design Studio I.

Graphic Design Studio I introduces students to formal, perceptual, symbolic and technical aspects of visual communication. This course provides an introduction to the design of both 2 and 3 dimensional projects as well as the practice of design critiques.
