Save the dates for Canada’s UX festival: Fluxible 2016

Crack open your calendar right now and hold the week of September 19–25. That’s when Fluxible returns for 2016! This year’s program is broader and richer than ever, having grown into a week-long festival of UX goodness with three flavours of activities:

  • Fluxible Meetups (Monday–Friday). A range of activities every day from brown bag lunches, to studio visits, to partner events, dinners, and more. Many of these events are free, open to everyone with an interest in design and user experience.
  • Fluxible Workshops (Friday). Hands-on workshops for diving deep into important UX topics with industry leaders. Registration is independent from the conference.
  • Fluxible Conference (Saturday–Sunday). The core conference experience you’ve come to love, a single track program with talks of varying lengths by great speakers from near and far.

It’s been a rewarding journey to get here for our 5th edition. Fluxible launched in 2012 as a 2-day event that combined a single track of presentations with an afternoon of half-day workshops. Since then, the program’s shape has evolved in response to feedback and experiments with new talk formats and program structures. Much to our delight, Fluxible’s scope also grew organically through connections with related events in the week before the conference, such as Girl Geek Dinners, uxWaterloo, UX Book Club, and others. This year, Fluxible has grown to become a week-long festival — packed with opportunities to connect with your peers and celebrate great design.
