When your day starts off with accordions and jumping jacks you know it's going to be one like no other. And really, would you expect anything else from Fluxible? We thought not.

On the the second day of the conference, and the fourth straight day of UX in KW, the sun shone brightly. Instaposters were admired, lattes sipped and new friends recalled and shared their experiences from the day before.

But wait — there was more! The fantastic speaker talks continued, starting with a focus on how narcissistic products suck and moving on to the relationship between Marketing and UX, experiential eduction, Thalmic Labs' MYO, and how designing intuitive designs is actually not that intuitive. Similar to last year, we were thrilled to have added a speaker to the mix whose work parallels that of the user experience field. Toby Malone, dramaturg, shared with us lessons from the theatre that could easily be extended to the product design world.

015The musicians continued to enthrall and entertain, as sounds of all genres filled the Tannery event space. As one attendee tweeted, "The Festival of Interstitial Music is just one thing that makes [Fluxible] an amazing experience." Thank you! We'll be sure to have a full list of the musicians up on our site shortly.

In case you weren't able to join us for all or part of the weekend, be sure to check out our news blog as we have wrap up summaries from each day.

A huge thank you again to all of our sponsors, speakers and of course, our attendees, for descending on Kitchener-Waterloo this past weekend to help create something very special. We're looking forward to next year already. (Well, maybe after a solid sleep or two!)

And while Fluxible may be over, the festival of UX continues. Later today, Indi Young will be giving a brown bag lunch at D2L, so if you haven't already, be sure to register now!
